of disappointment

Hello people! Ive been trying to keep myself from writing a post on 'this matter' but I just cant stand it. So,here it goes

I went to watch LBS earlier today, and disappointment is what I brought back home. I started losing focus at the beginning of the story, and later the focus said sayonara, could help it any longer. A BIG FAT DISAPPOINTMENT IS WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD! sad sad sad

I am no film major, has no knowledge about film or not even a film critique, but I am here to say something about a movie that I have been dying to watch, even before it was made because Ahadiat Akashah is my one and only favourite malay author, so I look forward to movies based on his novels, esp if it were to be LBS and Hikayat Cinderella. So imagine when I got to know LBS was going to be shown in the cinema, I watched the trailer frequently, reread the novels more than 10 time (NO KIDDING!), and ended up watching it to be less than what I expected. I know its unfair to compare the film with the novel, but thats not about it.

I dont know why, but I couldnt see the emotion I wanted to see. Ok, wanting so much is annoying and impossible to cater, I got that. I wanted to feel the emotion between Kasyah and Ayu more, I really did. If you love someone hard/strong(insert whatever extravagant word you want to) enough, even by staring you could feel and know it, without actually saying it. Get what I mean? The emotion was there, but not so much which I wanted it to be intense. Try reading the book, and you could see Kasyah actually show how much he loves Ayu through his body language, eyes etc. Ok, I find it hard to actually explain this, so thats that. I like the chemistry between Farid Kamil and Lisa, but I seriously wanted them to show more of that in the movie, being Kasyah and Ayu.

Another thing that contributes to my disappointment is, fellow movie watchers(i'm seriously out of word for this,so faham2lah.hee) buat bising macam tak pernah masuk cinema. They were sitting together in a row and were laughing when the scene wasnt even funny but they found it to be funny because there was this friend who made something funny out of it. SO DISTRACTING! I couldnt concentrate.

Most of the characters are well-played by the casts, while the others are just ok.

Another thing that is disappointing is when the camera is shaky, you couldnt help but feel dizzy watching it. Please please, work on that. It was such a huge distraction and disappointment.

Making a movie is no easy task, lagi2 bile nak buat movie based on a popular novel, masak lahh! Therefore, I'd like to give credits to the team involved for the hard work. I really do. But, I hope for something much better in the next series (kalau ade kan)because I wouldnt want to be disappointed for the second time. The disappointment really hit me hard. so please please pretty please, pay extra attention from the littlest thing to the biggest :)

oh, and I was so looking forward to the time after Ayu hilang ingatan, thinking there would be 'helikopter kecik' and stuff, tapi takde :(

ok, thats all :)

This is something unrelated I just want to share. I was on my way out of the parking. In front me of was a chinese couple, while behind me was a chinese man. The chinese couple in front was so so so kind that they gave way to the cars untuk jalan dulu before them dekat each simpang available dkt parking lot alamanda tuh. Later, the car in front dah lepas, and I saw a car trying to reverse so I stopped and gave way. The chinese man behind honk and angkat tangan tunjuk marah sebab I'm so slow and asyik bagi orang jalan. Hey, DONT YOU BELIEVE IN KARMA? Nak buat baik pon kena marah? Memang sah dunia nak kiamat. And bile dah klua tuh, bukan maen tekan minyak lagi sebelah aku. Tak kemana pon awak tuh, kat atas bumi jugak. Tak faham betul lah. GERAM!

long ass post

Howdy cowboysss. Heeeeee
I came back from my choti2 yesterday and lemme spill the beans

From last monday until yesterday I was in China, particularly Shenzen and Guangzhou, and a day at HK Disneyland.

DAY 1
The flight was delayed for 20 to 30 mins which was still bearable. It was my first time flying with Air Asia and it was the most HORRIBLE experience. Snobbish flight attendants + the long wait though I had express ticket + uncomfortable seat + boredom!
The flight attendants were just plain snobbish! Just because the tagline is 'Now everybody can fly' (or wtv i dont care) you have no right to act like you are better than any of the passengers. Tolonglah! You have no rights nak buat macam kau bagus sangat and everyone dalam flight tu plain binbo! Tak reti senyum and berlagak macam Miss World. Ape cite? Menyesal kengkonon nak test naik AirAsia. MAS is waaayyyyyyyy better. Beza harga with MAS tak banyak sangat so I see no point nak naik AirAsia lagi. At least, MAS provides in-flight entertainment, meals, blanket+pillow+eyemask+headphone and the flight attendants are so friendly! Duhh. Ok2. We arrived at Baiyun airport around 840 and went straight to Shenzen which took around 2 to 3 hours to go by coach. I was surprised to know that Baiyun International Airport is the biggest airport in China. Have always looked up to Beijing and Shanghai that I forgotten about Guangzhou presence. teheee

Day 2
We went to jade factory where my eyes were sparkling just by looking at the gorgeous jades in purple and green. Awwwwwww! Cantik gile. If only I have the money. Sigh~. Later, we went to the silk factory where we didnt have much interest on. Nothing interesting though. And later, we went to the Window of the World. Here, you get to see the famous buildings, monuments statues or wtv from all over the world, but smaller. Among them the Eiffel tower, Notre Dame, Pisa tower and merlion. There, I witnessed for the first time in my life, budak2 kencing je mane2 diorg nak and takde orang kesah sgt ponn and beberape perempuan with hairy armpits. ERK! Later, we went to Splendid China which was SUPER AMAZING!!!!! 10 point out of 10! Sugoi!! We watched 2 performances which were so amazing I wouldnt mind going again next time. Splendid China also includes miniatures of the famous buildings/statues/monuments all around China such as Forbidden City, the Great Wall and Tibet settlement. We went crazy taking pictures at that place. Hahahahaha! Seronok betulllll. Semua cantik2. Geram tengok! Later, we went for dinner. Sedap gilaakkkk! :D

Day 3
We went to HK Disneyland. Honestly, HKD was boring for me. Why? It was small and the mountains surrounding Disneyland wasnt helping. For me, Disneyland and parks of the like should be dream-like or something and HKD was too realistic for me. Hahahaha. Its hard to explain but you'll know once youve been to different places. Universal Studio Jpn and Movie World Oz can win anytime over HKD, in my opinion. USJ is soooooo prettyyyyyyyy!!!!! And and the lagi bnyk 3d shows and games and stuff. Movie World pon best sebab banyak benda boleh main unlike HKD. Sigh~ If youve never been to Universal Studio (mane2lah) or Disneyland or theme parks of the like, ok lah kalau nak pergi. But if you dah pernah pegi Uni Studio or theme parks of the like, tak pergi HKD pon takpe. Tapi kalau nak pergi, pergi je lahh. Hehehehehe. Its just that I was so disappointed. Dah lahhh hujan the whole dayy! Lagi gua panaz. Sobs. Balik je dari Hong Kong, we went to Luohu Mall and later, the best part of the day, MASSAGE! Hahahahahaha. Best gileeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Rm100 untuk massage satu badan and kaki for 2 hours. Mane nak dapat kat KL? Heeeeeeeeee

Day 4
We went to Guangzhou. First stop, Dr Sun Yet Sen's memorial, later the 5 rams ke 5trams sculpture and later to Saad Ibn Waqas' grave+1000 years old mosque. I was so happy seeing Muslims in Guangzhou sebab ramai. It made me feel peace at heart :D. Later we went to this mosque that Ive forgotten its name and had dinner near the mosque. Malam pulak, we went crazy shopping dekat walking street. All those shirts, blouses, cardigans, shoes, etc you see in the internet are being sold for half price!! Mane aku tak gile. I bought a blouse that would cost me around RM 40 for RMB35 which is RM17 macam tu. Fuhhhh! Boleh buat bisnes ni. Hahahahahaha.

Day 5
First stop, herbal centre. The experts checked us on by one and told us our health problems. We bought the needed medicine. Later, went to One Link Plaza to buy souvenirs. I went crazy at this place. So many cute things and they are all CHEAP!! Lagilah gileeee. Bought a lot of things here. Isk isk. Seronok tau. Hahahahah

Day 6
Went to another jade factory. My mom's initial intention was just to go and see without buying tapiiiiiii, something unexpected telah berlaku. HAHAHAHAHAHA. The owner of the place is a Thai man whose wife just gave birth to a baby boy he had waited for so long. He was so thankful so die jadi sangat baik hati. We were given free bracelets (the cheap ones that only cost around rm50, tapi janji hadiah!hahaha). He showed us a set of jewelry consists of a necklace, a bracelet, a pair of earrings and a ring with 9 ruby stones. AMAZINGGG!!! The price of one set was RMB68000 or RM34000, because the owner is so happy (dapat anak lelaki and happy dapat visitors from Malaysia for the first time) offered the set to my mom for less than RM5000. Go and faint now!!! IT WAS CRAZY I TELL YAAAA! And later, he showed 4solitaires to us and I nearly fainted. CANTIKNYEEEEEEE. nak beli memang gua tak mampu ahhhh! Each cost RM34000 equal to the set of jewelry I mentioned earlier. Adoyyyyyy! Another surprise from him, he only charged the making fee for the rings which is 2solitaires for less than RM5000. FAINT NOW! He said he wanted to be good friends with us and so we exchanged numbers and addresses. MEMANG GILEEEEEEEE. Later, we went to Beijing Road and nothing excites me and so we decided to go to the next shopping stop which is White Horse. If you want to sell clothes, go get your stocks there. Super cheap with super quality clothes. The place was crazy. There was this building dedicated to wholesale clothes which means mesti wholesale tak boleh satu2. But fret not, the opposite building is another wholesale place where you can buy a piece to 100 pieces. GO CRAZY THERE. Because it was just so much that you can buy, I had headache. Tak tau nak beli ape. Hahahaha. Later, we went to jewelry+ accesories wholesale place. Sebab tempat tu wholesale, jadi tak beli banyak sbb bukan sume kedai allow buying a piece only. Haihh. nvm. Later that day, we packed our bags and sleep early

Day 7
Bid farewell to our tourist guide, Julie. She was so kind :D. The journey back was much more better than our first experience. The flight attendants were so professional and baik and smile all the time. thumbs up! And the seat was much more comfortable because we were at the first row. Thank God!

Thats how the holidays went. And I was shocked to know about what the Israeli soldiers did. Very sad. My prayers and thoughts are with my muslim brothers and sisters all the time. Tuhan tu adil. Percayalah.

Till then, bye. Sorry for the typo, nak type cecepat sbb takut lupe. Hahahahaha :p
